Scientific Faith Is Different From Religious Faith
Another article from a non-believer but he makes a great point that I have tried to articulate over the years: that most people do not know what they are talking about when it comes to their faith in their flavor of religion or even their faith in science. The author does argue that scientific faith is different from religious faith, which I concur. Also the author doesn’t criticize any faiths just the fact most people can’t support their belief intelligently rather in science or some form of deity. I offer you this article in hopes that you see the wisdom in, 1 Peter 3:15, that we give an articulate reason for our hope in Jesus, and Proverbs 26:4, that we don’t waste our time and sanity answer a fool to his folly. I also do not agree with the authors last paragraph.
Jesus vs. scientists: Who’s better at miracles?
God has certainly given man knowledge on how to do what only could be described as a miracle because they were miracles. Jesus didn’t need machines and medicines along with Peter giving a fast disclaimer for possible side effects. God does miracles that violate all known and unknown scientific reason. God speaks and it is so. But also praise God for given us medical knowledge. God has power that science will never figure out because it is not a power of knowledge but a power of being God, the Creator of all things.
The following link does have intended humor as well as skepticism toward faith.
